SCRIPT COVERAGE - GET FEEDBACK ON YOUR PROJECT


Do you have a new project that you would like assessed by a Broadway professional? Davenport Theatrical offers year round feedback services to help with the development of your script.

Script coverage and consultation provides dramaturgical feedback for works in development from our Director of Creative Development Jane Caplow, as well as thoughts on your show’s commercial potential and possible next steps. Writers are encouraged to submit questions or raise issues they would like addressed. There are now a number of ways to receive feedback:

1) Script Consultation: After submitting your script for analysis you will be scheduled for a 1 hour consultation meeting in the Davenport Office to receive the feedback. This will give you the opportunity to have a dialogue about the critique and ask questions as they arise. $150

2) Script Coverage: In this option you will receive a detailed written analysis of your project via email two (2) weeks from our receipt of the materials. This is an ideal option for those outside of the New York area, or would simply prefer a more formalized version of the feedback. $250

3) Script Coverage from Ken: The same service as number two, with feedback from Producer Ken Davenport. $499

Please indicate SCRIPT COVERAGE on your envelope of materials as well as in your accompanying cover letter. Checks should be made payable to DTE Management Services LLC and should be included with your materials. Please write the name of your project in the memo of the check.




HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SCRIPT


Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, Inc. has an open submissions policy and we encourage writers to send in their plays or musicals for consideration for production on Broadway or Off-Broadway.

Please only submit one piece.  Show us your strongest or most representative work and we will contact you if we’d like to see more.

Please note, that due to the overwhelming amount of scripts we receive, it may not be possible for us to respond to all submissions. For this same reason, we also ask that you do not call or email asking for a confirmation of receipt of your materials or for information regarding whether or not we have had a chance to review them.
